Daryl Rayner's 1976 MG Midget 1500
|
“Nessa”
The accual build Date was Feb 19 to Feb 23 1976. The Midget was originaly first sold new in Canada from a Dealership in Vancouver or Victoria I believe, although I still have not been able to track the original owner of the car as I am the 3rd owner.
The Car was purchased by me in August 2008 from Parksville Victoria, BC, Canada.
Found sitting under the old Fir trees uncovered but previous year plated. The owner was reluctant to sell but after talking we closed the deal, she needed the differential fixed and starter solenoid replaced. And she made the road trip all the way back to Fort St. John, BC Canada where she has gone through the strip down and rebuild and resides today. Only driven on special occasions (Sunny days) And to local cars shows at this time we are always doing minor upgrades or modifications. Won Dealers Choice award In the FSJ Canada Day Show and Shine 2011, Best Foreign 2015, drive train and front suspension have all been renewed this spring June 2017. Nessa will be back in Canada Day 150 parade this year and off to Summer Cruise 2017 in Dawson Creek BC.
Great Show Dawson Creek 447 Cars this Year Awesome.
Update July 2018 The rear differential is now complete brand new rear spring leafs bushing axle straps and new 3:55:1 Crown and Pinion Set WOW what a difference this is.
Thanks for Looking
