British By The Sea
BBTS is a popular vote, fun event, with etched glass mugs being presented as awards. For 2025, we will have 32+ Classes of British Vehicles, displayed on our 4+ acre field. We want to encourage ALL British car, truck, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to a end and have an enjoyable time.
Whether your vehicle is in pristine condition, or a daily driver, sparkling paint and chrome or with “Barn Fresh” patina, it deserves to be part of the event and on the display field.
For 2025, our MARQUE OF THE YEAR will be MGA. They will be prominently displayed in the front rows of our display field.
Come down and enjoy the day mingling with other LBC owners, talk about cars, have a picnic, a glass of wine, and also take in all that the 240 acre Harkness Memorial State Park has to offer, such as the beach, tours of the Mansion “Eolia”, and the Gardens.
The CT MG Club donates a large amount of our proceeds from BBTS to the Park to purchase plants for the West Gardens, helping to restore the “Eolia” Gardens to their original grandeur as designed by Beatrix Farrand in 1919. In addition, we provide “people power” over a few weekends in the Spring to plant them.
We have selected a variety of quality food vendors to a end in order to satisfy any appetite, from coffee and pastry, hot dogs and hamburgers, lobster rolls, deli sandwiches and wood fired brick oven pizzas, to Ice Cream for dessert. You can also bring a picnic to enjoy and share “out of the boot” of your car.
The expansive lawn areas offer ample room for the display vehicles, vendors, spectator parking and a spacious area for trailer parking.
We hope to see you all on Sunday June 1st 2025.

Elva 70th Reunion Put-In-Bay
Beginning with a small event in 2009, the Put-in-Bay Road Races Reunion celebrates sports car races that were held on the streets of the town of Put-in-Bay on Ohio’s South Bass Island from 1952 to 1959 and in 1963. The three-day reunion engages racers and non-racers alike in an event that reaches back in time to capture the history and re-create the atmosphere of sports car racing of that era in a uniquely beautiful setting. Book-ended around two days of Vintage sports car racing at the island’s airport, is a balanced mix of events honoring the island’s racing history, a few social gatherings, a car show, original course controlled laps and airport-track lapping, self conducted island rally, rocker cover races and plenty of unstructured time as well.
Put-in-Bay is a nostalgic island enclave and a short ferry ride off the shore of Lake Erie near Sandusky, Ohio. A summer resort community little changed from the ‘50s, it is one of the very few places in North America where post-war sports cars raced through towns and countryside on public roads and where those roads exist today virtually unchanged.
