My introduction to Sports Cars was when I was in 1958 at 9 years old My Dad's friends brought over TR3 and Corvettes and drove me around the block. My Christmas present was a Strombecker 1/32 Slot Car set, which continued my interest in knowing more about Sportscars. 18 years old I bought my first car at 1959 Austin Healey Bug Eye Sprite. I learned a lot about car repair. 19 years old I bought my second car at Bug Eye SCCA raced car that I have today and enjoy racing Vintage Sports Car Racing in the Midwest.
