Prepping 100/104R for racing and trying to decide where tow locations might make sense. Where have others located tow loops or straps? My obvious concern is damaging the fiberglass bodywork when being pulled out of the kitty litter or back to the pits. I can always use the roll bar ala formula cars, but thought I'd see what other solutions might be out there.
Cheers,
Jake

Hi Jake--

I no longer have my Courier but as I remember, the fiberglass bodywork of the car--both front and back--projects well beyond the end of the ladder frame. I had tie-down loops welded onto the frame ends but never used them for towing as the likelihood of the tow rope damaging the bodywork seemed great. I always opted for a rope to the roll bar, which allowed me to disengage from the tow truck if something seems wrong.
