I am thinking ahead to the build on the Mk1 Courier we have here, a largely original car by initial appearances. Will be looking to build it for West Coast vintage racing (CSRG). Has anyone assembled a list of parts interchange for Couriers, identifying which parts from the greater UK motor industry parts bin were used in the construction or upgrade of the various Courier models? Some are obvious in terms of origin, some not so much. For what it might be worth, I'd be willing to start such a list and keep it here, with input from the team here.

Check Gary's posts on originality for specific years here: https://www.elvaexp.com/forum/elva-courier-forum.2/correct-information-about-the-courier.44/
Otherwise, you've really opened a can of worms here! No two Couriers are alike. Post what you are specifically searching for and you'll get some answers.

Kevin,
There was a partial list on one of the old forums. I think Scott Philben may have compiled it for the Bexhill/Hastings Couriers. Trojan cars differed.
Basically MGA drive, modified Morris Minor/Riley 1500 axle, TR10 front uprights with spindles to accommodate Morris hubs, Morris steering rack, motor mounts I believe were Nash Metropolitan. Brakes may have come from the Morris Oxford. I’m sure others have a more encyclopedic knowledge than I. If you’re building a racer you probably won’t need the difficult dash, trim, and electrical bits.
If anyone has a cross for the Armstrong shocks and source for the various rubber bushings please share.
Bill B.

A can of worms, indeed! I thought it might be good to dump the worms out on the table, and worth through them. Mine is a Bexhill car, so I am most interested in that, but figured if all here with knowledge helped create a list, it would be good to have that as a file and available for future reference

At this time, I am mainly interested in brakes and suspension components. Hydraulics, too. The car has a MGA 1500 in it, and 3-synchro box, and still has 4 wheel drum brakes. I'd like to upgrade that, may install an 1800 3-main, haven't decided yet on that one.

Hello Kevin,
I had a good experience using Power Track Ltd in the UK .
Paul Hunt knows the car and hydraulics.
Is the Courier you are working on included in the Registry?
Please send the chassis number and your email and phone contact information to me by email, cossaboongary@gmail.com
A clear macro zoom photo of the brass chassis plate would be ideal.
A major benefit of joining the Registry is locating Couriers like yours and owners that know their stuff.
